A footstool is the small addition that makes a sofa complete, somewhere to put your feet up, extra perch seating when guests arrive, or a soft surface for a tray. This is a focused selection of 15, priced £298 to £438, all in fabric, from ranges including Solaya, Azzuro and Naples, several of which match our sofas, so you can pair a footstool to a suite you already own.

Choosing one is mainly about proportion and colour: pick a height close to your sofa's seat height for a comfortable footrest, match the fabric for a coordinated look or contrast it as an accent, and check the dimensions so it tucks away neatly. Every order is delivered with our two-person white-glove service, into the room of your choice, £49 — or free on mainland UK orders totalling £499 or more.
