Terms of service
Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to your use of this website and to any order you place with us. Please read them before ordering. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Who we are
This website is operated by Sofa Renewals SW Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16377236, with its registered office at 67 Dominion Road, Bristol, BS16 3ES. Our trading address is Unit C, Goodneston Road, Bristol, BS16 3JX. You can contact us at info@sofarenewals.co.uk or via our contact page.
Placing an order
When you place an order you are making an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation or dispatch the goods, whichever is earlier. We may decline an order (for example if an item is unavailable or a pricing error has occurred), in which case we will refund any payment taken.
Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). The price you pay is the price shown at checkout, which includes all compulsory charges; any delivery charge is shown clearly before you pay, with no hidden fees. Payment is taken through our secure checkout using the methods shown at the time of purchase. Where an obvious pricing error occurs, we are not obliged to fulfil the order at the incorrect price.
Delivery
Delivery is covered by our Delivery Policy. Unless otherwise agreed, we deliver within 30 days.
Cancellation, returns and refunds
Your right to cancel, return items and receive refunds is set out in our Delivery & Returns policy, summarised in our Returns & Refunds Policy. We give you 28 days from the day you receive your order to change your mind, which is more generous than the 14 days required by law for online orders.
Faulty goods and warranty
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods we supply must be of satisfactory quality, as described and fit for purpose. Many sofas also come with a manufacturer or structural warranty — see our Warranty page. Any warranty is in addition to, and does not limit, your statutory rights.
Our liability
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your statutory rights. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses (we supply to consumers for private use).
Complaints and dispute resolution
If something goes wrong, please contact us first at info@sofarenewals.co.uk — we aim to resolve complaints quickly and fairly. Consumer disputes may also be raised with an approved alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider or with your local Trading Standards / the Citizens Advice consumer service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place your order applies to that order.
