Recliner sofas here run from single armchairs up to five-seat corners, priced from around £300 to £2,200, in fabric, faux leather or genuine leather. Popular ranges include Galaxy Tech, Owen and Somerville.
Manual versus electric is the main decision, and it is worth knowing almost all of ours are electric (74 of 78): a button adjusts the recline smoothly and holds any position, but the sofa needs to sit near a socket, and powered models usually cannot be pushed flush to a wall, leave a little clearance behind. The few manual recliners use a lever and need no power, which suits rooms without a nearby socket. Reclining seats also extend forwards when open, so measure the space in front as well as the width. Use the size finder to see recliners that fit, and every order is delivered with our two-person delivery to the room of your choice, free on mainland UK orders £499+, otherwise £49.
